So, we returned from the bunker a few weeks ago with five new songs in hand. The resulting EP, "Mercies," will be out on July 20th on Uncle M Records in Europe and in August on Highwires in the US. It includes a few new songs, and one we revisited from the "i/o" era. The track list:
City
Eulogy
These Days
Bengal
Lady Now
The cover art will pop up in the records section this week. And vinyl details will be released shortly.
SNEAK PREVIEW
For those of you who follow Uncle M on Facebook, you probably caught wind of the sampler that was available as a free download for 24 hours a few days back. If so, you've already got your hands on a copy of "Eulogy" (plus killer songs from the likes of OFF!, Hot Water Music and many more). If not, you can now download Eulogy as a single track here via Uncle M's Soundcloud page.

VIDEO
There's a new short film/video in the works care of Andrew's brother, Nick (who also helmed the videos for "Cherry Red" and the Seventeen Scratches series – "Light in the Attic," "Blank Screens" and "The Bluebird Room"). It'll be shot in DC in early July, and we're quite looking forward to seeing it. Details TBA.
…AND BEYOND
The band all lives in Chicago as of June 2012 – no more seven-state commute for practice. This means we'll start doing stateside shows again soon.
