The show at Shaubude was pretty sweet, but the best part of Kiel was staying with Dickie the promoter. Never have I encountered such a hospitable drill sargent…
"Here's where you guys stay…" Then he left us alone the whole night in our sweet room built up with loft beds.
"Breakfast at 11am." Sure enough, there was fresh rolls, spreads, veggies, cheese etc…typical European breakfast.
Then at about 11:45 the countdown began.
"10 minutes guys…."
"5 minutes…!!! No, I have to walk to the club, now it's 4 minutes"
"3 minutes."
Damn you never saw a band move so fast.
